A Multidisciplinary Team Built Around You

Our clinicians hold credentials at the master's, PhD, EdD, and MD levels, with backgrounds spanning social work, substance use counseling, and school education. That range of training matters. It means your care team can draw on diverse clinical perspectives rather than a single-discipline view.

Every client’s journey begins with an in-depth assessment. From there, our psychiatrists and therapists work together to build a personalized treatment plan shaped by your history, goals, and clinical needs. That plan isn’t fixed. Our clinicians reassess and adjust as you progress, so your care evolves alongside you.

Evidence-Based Therapy Modalities

There’s no single approach that works for every person, which is why our clinicians draw from a broad toolkit of evidence-based methods. Treatment may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), anger management therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, Reality Therapy, psychoeducational approaches, and 12 Step frameworks, selected and combined based on what each client needs.

We work with a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, schizoaffective disorders, grief and loss, ADD, ODD, conduct disorder, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorders, and substance use and addiction. CBT and DBT, in particular, are backed by decades of clinical research and are widely recognized for treating anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Individual, Group, and Family Therapy in Bucks County

We offer three core therapy formats, each designed to address different dimensions of mental health and recovery.

Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, you work one-on-one with a therapist to identify the root of your concerns, set meaningful goals, and build a plan of action with consistent accountability and support.

Group Therapy

Group therapy sessions are professionally guided and cover mental health, addiction, coping mechanisms, relapse prevention, and relaxation techniques. Clients share experiences and gain perspective from others who understand what they’re facing. Research shows group therapy can be as effective as individual therapy for many conditions.

Family Therapy & Marriage Counseling

Family therapy is integrated into our intensive outpatient program and available as part of broader treatment. We actively encourage parent involvement in teen treatment wherever clinically appropriate. Marriage counseling is also available for couples navigating relationship and mental health challenges together.

A Welcoming Environment for Every Background

We serve individuals from all backgrounds and are committed to a setting where diversity is honored, dignity is protected, and open expression is encouraged without fear of judgment. Every session is confidential. Whether you’re reaching out for the first time or returning to care, new patients are welcome at Hope Springs Behavioral Health.
