Mental Health Treatment in Levittown, PA

Outpatient Care Built Around You

Hope Springs Behavioral Health is a family-owned and -operated outpatient mental health treatment center serving Levittown, as well as other communities across Bucks County. Our care team includes board-certified psychiatrists working alongside licensed therapists and trained clinicians. We’re licensed by both the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) and accredited by The Joint Commission. Those credentials aren’t window dressing. They’re independent confirmation that our clinical standards hold up under outside review.

Our patient-first philosophy starts with one premise: effective mental health care should be within reach for everyone, and what success looks like is different for each person. We build every treatment around that.

What Mental Health Services Do We Offer?

Our programs draw from several evidence-based modalities, and most are available as standalone services, as well as components of an intensive outpatient program (IOP).

Individual Therapy

One-on-one sessions with a licensed mental health professional. Our clinicians use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address negative thought patterns and build positive habits. DBT, originally developed to treat borderline personality disorder and now widely applied to emotional dysregulation, is particularly effective for personality disorders and complex trauma.

Group Therapy

Group sessions create space for peer support, shared perspective, and accountability. They’re especially helpful for patients managing anxiety disorders, eating disorders, or trauma, where hearing others navigate similar experiences builds insight and reduces isolation.

Family Therapy & Marriage Counseling

Family therapy is a standard component of our IOP, not an optional add-on. We also offer marriage counseling. Strengthening the people around a patient can strengthen the patient’s recovery.

Psychiatric Services & Medication Management

Our psychiatric services include evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management. We treat medication as one tool within a coordinated care plan, paired with therapy rather than used in isolation. Because our psychiatrists and therapists work together directly, adjustments to medication and adjustments to therapeutic strategy stay aligned.

Intensive Outpatient Program for Teens & Adults

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed for individuals who need structured, consistent support but don’t require hospitalization. It provides a higher level of care than standard weekly therapy while allowing patients to live at home and maintain their daily responsibilities. IOP is appropriate for people stepping down from inpatient or partial hospitalization programs, as well as those whose symptoms require more support than traditional outpatient therapy can offer.

We offer programs for teens and adults, with each one tailored to their exact clinical needs. Sessions occur multiple times per week and combine individual therapy, group work, family sessions, and psychiatric support.

Conditions we treat through IOP include:

Across all of these, our clinicians focus on helping patients build practical life skills, practice distress tolerance, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Dual Diagnosis & Co-Occurring Conditions

Substance use disorders frequently appear alongside depression, anxiety, and other mental health diagnoses. Treating only one while the other goes unmanaged rarely supports lasting progress. Our clinical team addresses both simultaneously through integrated care plans, drawing from evidence-based medicine and therapeutic community models. This coordinated approach is central to how we treat dual diagnosis at Hope Springs and helps patients with co-occurring conditions receive a single, coherent plan rather than two parallel programs that don’t communicate.

Insurance Coverage & Financial Access

We accept most commercial insurance plans, and our IOP is often covered by insurance. Hope Springs Behavioral Health is now accepting Pennsylvania Medicaid/HealthChoices, which expands access for patients across the region. If cost is a concern, sliding-scale fee options are available for those who qualify.

Our team works directly with individuals and families to navigate benefits and understand what’s covered before treatment begins. If you’re unsure what your plan includes, we can help you find out.
