Who Can Individual Therapy Help?
Individual therapy sessions can be life-changing for those in need of serious help. Individual counseling sessions will be accompanied by outpatient programs designed for mental health disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders, behavioral issues, among other conditions. However, one-on-one therapy is generally the key staples of a patient’s treatment plan, as it allows them to reflect in a judgement-free environment.
Our counselors have a broad range of expertise, including (but not limited to) the following subjects:

Our one-on-one supportive counseling services are provided in conjunction with family therapy. Whether you need mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling or any other individual therapy treatment, Hope Springs Behavioral Health can provide the care and resources needed to support you on your path to improvement.
Benefits of Individual Therapy
Privacy/Confidentiality: One of the most important parts of bettering yourself is being honest with yourself. But it’s tough to do that when you feel like you are being judged by the people around you. For example, a veteran with PTSD may find it difficult to discuss their condition with family because they don’t want to be seen as a burden. The same can be said about many other mental health and behavioral issues — nobody wants to be seen as “different” for something they have little control over. That’s why our outpatient programs for mental health disorders, substance abuse, bulimia, trauma, etc. are 100% confidential.
Individualized Treatment: When you get to spend time alone with mental health professionals who truly want the best for you, you receive a high level of care that would be difficult to obtain in a group setting. Of course, group therapy provides many benefits that you might not find in a one-on-one setting, so this is not to say that one is ‘better’ than the other. Rather, individualized treatment is vital because, in order to help you, you need to understand you — and so do we! Your therapist will gain a better understanding of you as they help you do the same, allowing the two of you to get on the same page when determining your best path forward.
