Mental Health Services for New Hope, PA Residents

We offer a broad range of outpatient mental health treatment options designed to meet people where they are, clinically and practically. Outpatient care allows clients to receive structured, evidence-based treatment while continuing to live at home and maintain work, school, and family routines.

Individual Therapy

Our therapists work with adults and teens on depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, and a range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Treatment draws on clinically validated approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and reality therapy. Each plan is built around the individual and adjusted as progress is made.

Family Therapy & Marriage Counseling

We help families navigate conflict, blended family dynamics, difficult transitions, and communication breakdowns. Marriage counseling is also available for couples working through relational stress.

Teen Therapy

Adolescents face a distinct set of pressures. Our clinicians address confidence, self-esteem, school stress, family tension, and behavioral challenges in ways that are developmentally appropriate and effective for teenagers.

Group Therapy & Support Groups

Structured group settings are available for substance use disorders, grief and loss, and eating disorders, including anorexia and bulimia. Group work adds a peer dimension to treatment that individual therapy alone doesn’t provide.

Psychiatric Services

Our board-certified psychiatrists conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for conditions including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Psychiatric services are coordinated with therapy so both aspects of care reinforce each other.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Teens & Adults

An intensive outpatient program (IOP) sits between standard outpatient care and inpatient treatment: clients attend multiple structured sessions each week and return home at the end of each day. Hope Springs offers IOP tracks designed separately for teens and for adults, recognizing that the two populations have meaningfully different clinical needs.

Our IOP takes a multipronged approach: reducing and stabilizing mental health symptoms, providing consistent therapeutic support, and actively strengthening family relationships. Family therapy is included as a standard component, not an add-on. The program can range from four weeks to four months, depending on each client’s situation and pace of progress. Our team works closely with clients and families throughout the process to answer questions and adjust the plan as needed.

The IOP is covered by insurance, and sliding-scale fee options are available for those who qualify. If you’re unsure what your plan covers, our team can help you navigate your benefits before you commit.

We Accept Most Major Insurances & Medicaid

We accept most commercial insurance plans and are now accepting Pennsylvania Medicaid/HealthChoices. Our team works directly with individuals and families to clarify coverage and answer questions about benefits.

Dual-Licensed & Joint Commission Accredited

Choosing a mental health provider means trusting them with something serious. Our credentials reflect the clinical standards we hold ourselves to. Hope Springs is licensed by both the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), the state agency that governs drug and alcohol treatment programs. We’re also accredited by The Joint Commission, a nationally recognized independent organization that evaluates healthcare facilities against rigorous standards for clinical quality and patient safety. Not every outpatient center holds all three of these credentials.

Our care team includes board-certified psychiatrists who collaborate directly with licensed therapists and trained clinicians. That coordination means your psychiatric care and therapeutic work are aligned from the start, rather than managed separately by providers who don’t communicate.

A Welcoming Environment for Every Background

We serve individuals from all walks of life and are committed to a setting that honors diversity, promotes dignity, and encourages honest expression without fear of judgment. Our admissions, services, and referrals are made without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin, age, or sex.
